A middleman for selling insurance policies.
These guys and gals sell a wide variety of insurance policies from insurance companies to insurance brokers.
Vince wants to buy an insurance policy for his pet monkey. He calls his brother, Jonny, who is an insurance broker. Jonny doesn’t know of any policies that insure pet monkeys, so he calls his friend, Eric, who is an insurance broker. Eric tells Jonny that he'll do some research, and then calls his husband, Turtle, who is a brokerage general agent. Turtle is able to suggest a pet life insurance policy that his firm, Ari Insurance, offers...and that entire entourage wasted money.
