You took your old couch to the RepoDepot. For an extra five bucks, you could have insured it against that flood...the leaky ceiling kind.
But you didn't.
So now your couch (the one you paid $500 to buy and put on consignment to sell for $200) is more like a swimming pool than a piece of living room furniture, and you'll be lucky to get $20 for it. Next time, pay the five bucks for the consigment insurance.
