Direct Method

Categories: Accounting, Metrics

"You suck." That's direct. But...not so effective as a method of teaching.

The direct method generally refers to the teaching method of choice when students learn a foreign language. The teacher almost never speaks to them in their native tongue or other body part, and instead only speaks to them in, say, Spanish. The student then feels a kind of special urgency to learn the lingo, and presumably learns it better under this method.
