Netfile

We all know that the internet can be a huge time-saver. (Or a huge time-waster, depending on our level of self-discipline and how into cat videos we are.) But starting in 2001, Canada turned the internet into even more of a timesaver by introducing NetFile.
NetFile is an electronic service that allows Canadians to file their personal income taxes online. Pretty sweet, eh? It’s like the Canadian version of our own much-beloved E-File. While not every Canadian taxpayer can take advantage of NetFile—there are certain restrictions pertaining to married and family returns, nonresident returns, and those who have recently gone bankrupt, for example—most of our neighbors to the north are eligible.
Looks like no matter where we live, making filing taxes less of a timesuck is always a crowd-pleaser.
