- 00:18
sure i may be saying that wrong but it's okay
- 00:21
there was an ancient statue that started out because there
- 00:24
was a lot of churchgoers and from the catholic church
- 00:28
i think they were digging They're a bunch of stuff
- 00:30
you know from the olden days and found the statue
- 00:33
and the statue was beaten the face was unrecognizable it
- 00:37
had no arms barely you know legs and just scratches
- 00:40
and things all over And so they couldn't figure out
- 00:42
what mythological character that the statue was based off and
- 00:46
so because they couldn't figure it out they couldn't put
- 00:48
it up with all the other winds and you know
- 00:50
let it be prominent because it was kind of ruined
- 00:52
And so instead they decided to just throw it out
- 00:54
in the town square and start posting posters and things
- 00:57
on that you know how would you go to like
- 00:59
a church or on office And you see the bulletin
- 01:02
board that has posters and take one of these you
- 01:05
know what They cut the little take one of those
- 01:07
things that's basically what the statute became well fighting for
- 01:10
them this thing caught on and so a lot of
- 01:13
people started posting and tagging things on there and it
- 01:17
got even so much to the point where people started
- 01:19
writing stuff on there but it wasn't just you know
- 01:21
normal helpful things that was mohr humorist iq type thing
- 01:25
So we're talking political sarcasm even some marangi humor orson
- 01:31
humorous poetry on they're all dealing with the political and
- 01:35
governmental establishment This was the original facebook or the original
- 01:39
social media network that everybody would put their opinions political
- 01:43
views and everything on and so think about that the
- 01:45
next time you want to post something on somebody's wall
- 01:47
And so this went on for quite a while I
- 01:49
think on this whole thing should big god started in
- 01:52
fifteen oh one and then i guess they were doing
- 01:55
it so much that authorities were like whoa this is
- 01:57
too much you know You guys need to slow down
- 02:00
You know they decreed this thing that they were you
- 02:02
know announcing to everyone to please stop doing this and
- 02:04
people would stop doing it And so they tried to
- 02:06
take the statue and you know clean it off and
- 02:09
stuff like that and put borders and things around it
- 02:11
the kind of guard it and then people started putting
- 02:13
it on other statues that was happening to more famous
- 02:17
statues things that definitely shouldn't have been written on And
- 02:19
so authorities saw that were like okay maybe we spoke
- 02:22
too soon do what you want with a pass key
- 02:24
no statue and start putting things on there But the
- 02:27
one thing that they didn't ever know is what the
- 02:30
statue wass who was that a statue of and how
- 02:33
did the name passkey no come about Well come to
- 02:36
think of it they said something to the effect of
- 02:38
that it was a cobbler who was like hey this
- 02:40
looks like a good pass key no statue when it's
- 02:42
stuck and so they're using it calling koski no is
- 02:46
getting more and more famous And then finally somebody figures
- 02:50
out what the statue really is and it's a statue
- 02:53
Of mental ahas But by now it's already too late
- 02:55
because it's become more famous is pass kino than it
- 02:58
would have ever been as minal aaa's So that's the 00:03:01.403 --> [endTime] rome's passkey No ancient statue boom
