How we cite our quotes: All quotations are from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Quote #4
WORMTAIL: I returned.
VOLDEMORT: Out of fear, not loyalty.
Wormtail is, like, the opposite of Harry and Cedric; he does everything out of fear or to gain, without a thought (apparently) about whether it's right. He's clearly terrified of the Dark Lord, and so he's done things like kill Harry's parents and Cedric, steal Harry's blood to bring Voldemort back to life…you know, normal stuff that friends ask you to do.
Quote #5
VOLDEMORT: After tonight, if they speak of you, they'll speak only of how you begged for death. And I, being a merciful Lord, obliged.
In addition to just plain killing Harry, Voldemort is super excited about making Harry look like a coward who begged for his life.
Quote #6
DUMBLEDORE: In light of recent events, the bonds of friendship we've made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that, and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain. You remember that, and we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest, and brave and true, right to the very end.
Cedric was definitely brave. After all, he definitely put himself at risk to help Harry when a bewitched Krum was after him. Too bad we won't be seeing more of him, since we really think he and Harry would have been good friends (well, er, aside from the whole love triangle with Cho thing).
