Picture yourself sitting in front of a giant campfire.

This was TV thousands of years ago. [Two guys sat in a room looking at the fire]

But instead of watching the latest Walking Dead episode, people gathered around the fire [Walking Dead playing in the fire]

and told each other stories.

Nowadays, storytellers write books or movie scripts. [Guy writing on a computer]

But back in the olden days, people didn't write down the stories, they told them to each other.

They would gather ‘round the fire and listen to the tribe elder tell a story. [People look excited]

And that elder would tell stories they heard from their tribal leader when they were younger,

and so on.

These same stories were passed down generation to generation.

Sometimes, the story would change a little bit.

The person telling it would add a little flourish, or spice up the ending just a bit.

These stories would evolve, just like we did. [Human evolution ending with a person looking at a fire and watching TV]

And…that’s what entertainment was like many thousands of years ago.
